MotorSouth Carpet Return Policy..

Our return policy is as follows:

Any returned carpet must not be cut and must have been purchased within 30 Days of the claim date and be in original condition to qualify for a return.

  • If your carpet has a manufacturing defect such as incorrect size, separated backing, or fiber defect we will replace the carpet with no cost to you.
  • In the event of a non-fitting carpet a UPS call tag will be issued to bring the carpet back to the manufacturing plant for inspection and replaced if found to be incorrect.
  • There will be no returns allowed for custom colors unless there is a manufacturing defect or you were shipped a different color than you originally ordered. Original colors may be returned however a 20% restock fee and shipping fees may be charged.
  • Most carpet orders are completed and shipped within 48 hours but carpet kits can take up to 10 days in some cases. Orders may not be returned due to claims of taking too long to receive carpet. If you are concerned about the time that it may take to receive a carpet you need to contact us directly to verify actual ship dates by ACC.
  • There will be no returns allowed for customer stating that they were not told that the carpet or vinyl would need to be trimmed and or the holes for the seats need to be cut.  This fact is stated on almost every page of this web site as well as pictures illustrating this fact. Installing auto carpet is NOT an easy job and we do not claim that it is. Seats and trim work must be removed.
  • MotorSouth Carpet does not claim that our finished product is OEM.  The quality of the carpet is in fact higher quality than original factory carpet in most cases but we do not claim it to be OEM meaning exact heel pad, pre cut holes for shifter or seats. Our carpet is "after market" carpet. Jute padding will NOT be attached on 100% of the carpet in any situation.  It will only be in areas such as the foot well areas and cargo areas and in some cases over the transmission.  We recommend Mass Rubber backing for all carpets.
  • Special orders such as loop carpet instead of cut pile for a late model car does not qualify for return unless there is a manufacturing defect. If the carpet is different in color from original OEM colors it may also not qualify for return unless there is a manufacturing defect. An example would be ordering neon colors for a 1966 Mustang which would have originally had a loop carpet in standard colors..
  • MotorSouth Carpet is a high volume retailer of Automotive Carpets.  Each carpet is produced using a mold specific to your vehicle make / model / year.  It is extremely unlikely that a mold fit thousands of like vehicles prior to your order then not fit yours, but we will always be happy to investigate any claims.  Most common issues are incorrect installation.  We recommend professional, qualified installers for our carpet products.

    Note that all returned carpets must be inspected by the manufacturing department prior to any money refunds. All refunds will be issued against the original payment source.  A company check will be issued for refund payments on orders paid with money order or personal / business check.

    Once you agree to the terms and file the Return Authorization Letter we will issue a UPS call tag for pickup from the exact address where the original package was delivered Unless this is a color exchange request then we will provide you with shipping address and a RMA number.
